Highwire® Contractor Prequalification Assistance

Need to Qualify with Highwire?

Does your company need to complete the Highwire® contractor prequalification or safety assessment process? We can help you prepare the written safety programs and safety documentation needed for your Highwire submission.

Highwire is now a Veriforce company. Veriforce acquired Highwire in October 2025, but Highwire continues to operate under the Highwire name and platform. Contractors who have been asked by a client to complete Highwire prequalification should therefore continue to follow their Highwire requirements.

Highwire’s current U.S. contractor enrollment requirements include safety information such as OSHA 300 and 300A records, Experience Modification Rating (EMR) documentation, and company safety manuals. Highwire may also evaluate safety programs and management systems as part of its safety assessment.

We specialize in the written safety-program and safety-documentation portion of Highwire qualification. Select the safety programs you need below, or send us the requirements assigned to your company and we can help determine which programs and supporting safety documents are needed.

We will prepare the applicable programs based on your company’s operations and the information you provide. You will receive a complete draft for review before purchase, allowing you to verify the information and request any necessary changes before the documents are finalized.

Once approved, your safety programs can be provided as individual PDF documents for uploading to Highwire, along with your editable Microsoft Word safety manual or programs.

Need Help with Your Highwire Submission?

Preparing the safety programs may be only part of the process. Highwire enrollment and assessment can involve company information, safety statistics, OSHA records, EMR documentation, safety programs, insurance information and, when applicable, financial information.

We can assist with the safety-related portions of your Highwire qualification, including reviewing safety requirements, organizing safety documentation, navigating applicable portions of the platform, uploading safety programs and supporting documents, and assisting with applicable safety-related questions.

Already Have Your Highwire Requirements?

Send or upload the requirements assigned to your company. We can review them to help determine which written safety programs and supporting safety documents are needed.

If you don’t have a requirement list to upload, that’s okay. You can select the applicable safety programs from the form below.

Whether you need one safety program, a complete safety manual, revisions to existing programs, or assistance with the safety-related qualification process, we can tailor the service to what you need.

Highwire Safety Assessment Requirements

Highwire’s contractor assessment goes beyond collecting basic company information. Its current safety assessment considers historical safety performance as well as company safety programs and management systems.

Highwire currently requires U.S. contractors to provide OSHA 300 and 300A records from the prior three years, EMR documentation from the prior three years, and company safety manuals as part of the Safety Assessment enrollment documentation.

Highwire also states that contractors may be required to upload company programs to support answers involving Program Elements, Management Systems and Advanced Initiatives.

This makes it important that the written programs submitted accurately reflect your company’s operations and safety practices.

Already Have a Safety Manual?

You may not need to replace it.

If you already have a company safety manual or individual written programs, we can review your existing documentation and concentrate on the programs that are missing, incomplete, or need to be revised for your Highwire requirements.

When appropriate, existing company procedures can be incorporated rather than unnecessarily replacing policies that already reflect your operations.

Need to Address a Safety Program Deficiency?

If Highwire or a hiring client identifies a missing or incomplete safety-program requirement, send us the applicable requirement or comments along with the program you previously submitted.

An existing safety program can often be revised to address a missing policy, procedure, responsibility, training provision, documentation requirement, or other identified item rather than replacing the entire program.

Highwire Is Now Part of Veriforce

Highwire was acquired by Veriforce in October 2025. The acquisition brought Highwire’s construction-focused contractor prequalification and risk-management capabilities into the larger Veriforce organization.

Highwire nevertheless continues to maintain its own platform, website, Help Center and contractor enrollment process, so contractors asked to qualify through Highwire should continue to address the requirements associated with their Highwire account.

If your client has instead instructed you to qualify directly through Veriforce, see our Veriforce contractor qualification assistance page.

Customized Highwire Safety Programs

The safety programs we prepare are customized around your company’s operations, employees, equipment, work activities, workplace hazards, existing procedures, and applicable qualification requirements.

You receive a complete draft for review before purchase. This allows you to verify company-specific information and request appropriate changes before deciding whether to purchase the final documents.

Approved programs can then be provided individually for submission while also becoming part of your company’s editable safety documentation.
