Appropriate footwear and additional fall protection must be used when required by workplace conditions. The program also addresses workplace inspections, hazard reporting, corrective actions, employee responsibilities, and training to help prevent slip, trip, and fall injuries.
Description
The Slips, Trips and Falls Safety Program provides a structured approach for recognizing and correcting conditions that can cause employees to lose their footing, balance, or safe access while moving through the workplace. It establishes responsibilities for management, supervisors, and employees and incorporates prevention into routine housekeeping, inspections, hazard reporting, and corrective action.
